Baba Yaga Looseleaf Tea

Product Info

Bean Feasa means "wise woman" in Irish, and our teas are blended and picked to pay homage to the wise woman of Irish folklore and other great individuals of of legend.

Baba Yaga. A story told to frighten children in Slavic folklore. It was said she lived in a hut that stood on chicken legs and could make it move at will. But like all legends, the meaning depends on who is telling the tale, and Baba Yaga suffered the hatred and vilification of so many other wise women like her. We prefer to tell the tale of her as a wise and grandmotherly guide who could heal and gift magical items and wisdom if you were clever and showed her respect. And a gift of strong tea and sweet cakes can always get on a grandmother's good side.

Ingredients: A blend of Keemun, Darjeeling, and Assam teas
